The free image hosts keep changing so the remainder of this thread is no longer relevant but might be of use, especially if you have an account with any hosting sites listed here. Posting images is allowed as long as a hosting website is used. There are a number of paid & free websites, some of which don't need an account to be set up. An easy one to use is TinyPic To upload an image to TinyPic just use this link UploadTinyTap 'Browse' select your image then select the green 'Upload' button. NB: An anti spam window will pop up asking you to type some wording before you can continue. Select the codeing in the 2nd box 'IMG Code for Forums' and paste that code in your post. Et Voilà!

Tinypic doesn't seem to be working at the moment, so another host is Imgur. imgur.com/Their setup is slightly different Use the browse button to search for the image on your system Once your picture has been uploaded, goto the dropdown menu 1 and then get share links 2Choose BBCode for forums Then paste this code into your post. The image will appear once you have posted. You can always choose 'Preview' bottom left of your post, to see how it will look first, before posting. To upload further images choose Add more images and start the whole process again

Oooh! Looks like they've changed their homepage.
From the home screen choose 'New Post' highlighted in the green box at the top,
either click on it, which will give you the popup window to browse for your image, or click the little downward arrow for a dropdown menu. You can choose your options from there.

so confused... looking for something else, then get distracted by this thread ->... do we need a description of something for the new toy/tool that Pink mentioned dunno-anymore-where?
If so, here maybe?
then I come here and see a deleted member - huh? was that a test by you, Pink?
and my original question was: since when do we have "important threads" here, and how are they determined? and above all: where to post this??

Yeah deleted member was when I deleted imp ( ) The resizing picture thing is automatic, so it will just say above the picture that it has been resized, giving the option to view it full size. The 'important threads' is another plugin that I thought would be helpful, from the wonderful Todge It's now been in use for a full 2 days cool Some have difficulty finding things on the forum, especially via phone, so thought that anything pertinent (mainly regatta related) could be highlighted this way. I've also added another plugin where the time/date shown is highlighted in red (new) and green (1 day old)

ah OK, and thanks! automatic is good, I like the important feature! (how is it determined? amount of views, or posts or do you set it?), and I noticed and don't mind the colo(u)rs at least (what for..? just visibility?)

Yeah, just thought that anything to help make a post/thread stand out was good. The important threads I've just chosen, so I might just mess around with them from time to time. Think it might only be those 3 threads, so they may not be so important after awhile giggle

now I've found one that you just "must" add to the floating - it's called Pink ! isn't that fitting,
oh there's another! (but that 2nd one is animated and I agree that the waving of this one is too much. But the light balloon-waving of the other might be OK...?)
