This is a draft for a possible ad in the fb group "Addicted to Township", a closed group with 8k members and some very active, nice admins. Any thoughts, comments, critics welcome

Here's an example of a co-op ad of a whole other category, lol

I would add an also here: "non-racers also welcome". If I got that right, the search was at least also for getting more racers... not sure I would call LW a chatty Coop, lol, but have no other suggestions. Thanks for the info and even asking, Cathy.

not sure I would call LW a chatty Coop, I thought the same thing! Semi-chatty? Looking to become more chatty? Should we say min tasks or is the fb group directed at racers with the expectation that they would be aiming to complete most tasks? What about min level? If it's such a big group, just wondering how many replies you might get and thinking less to weed out.

About the chatty: Was being euphemistic here Looking to become more chatty isn't an invitation really, now is it, l.o.l. Was hoping when someone chatty comes, they then would not notice we others are just semi-chatty, I have other concerns about what else I'm saying, how and where to respond and so on. Have to discuss this in chat.

btw, what is your idea or intention for the joining day? I'm asking cos I was just reminded by a post in the TS forum that it would be easier for us, if newcomers wouldn't be let in on Mondays, but during a race. This way one can talk a lot over with more time.

I'm asking cos I was just reminded by a post in the TS forum that it would be easier for us, if newcomers wouldn't be let in on Mondays, but during a race. This way one can talk a lot over with more time. That shouldn't be a problem in this case as they will be responding to an ad and therefore all discussion can take place before they join. I have other concerns about what else I'm saying, how and where to respond and so on. Have to discuss this in chat. Won't they be messaging you on fb? This was my initial pm to Misty in response to her ad on the forum, if it helps. We are 17 members in Europe & the Americas. Friendly & helpful.
We are usually podium finishers with 16 gold & 13 silver & bronze cups. Members are asked to complete 10 tasks min of 125 and above, although we have a core group who complete 15 @ 130+ . The 16th task is optional. We have some members who rarely race due to work/life commitments etc and some who race each week. It really doesn't matter to us. We are hearty dumpers, paying no attention to the Global Leaderboard.

Just found this one on the forum
Town Name: Lucky Town Town Level: 77 Platform: android Language: english
I am an active player and love helping out others. I do all tasks and am willing to pay for the 16th task. I aim to be done with all tasks by Friday evening but sometimes life just happens. Looking for a co-op that communicates well, likes to have fun and is competitive but isn't striving to be top 3. Mostly, no drama, changing of rules, snarky comments or passive aggressive behavior.
If I sound like a good fit FB message me: Brenda Oxley Doherty
and this one I saw the other day and then forgot about
Town Name: Cottenheaded Ninnymuggins. Town Level:67 Platform: Android Language: English
I offer: I am a daily player. I love to help out, I don't take myself too serious and love being part of a team. I really loved the co-op I am currently in but they are becoming more and more competitive for the race. If that is you, please do not invite me. I usually complete all tasks but I don't want to feel pressure to do so. If you can care less about the race and really do just want to enjoy the company of the co-op and the friendships made, invite me. I will help where I can and bring absolutely zero drama.
Contact Me: (private message, Facebook I have only been to my forum profile twice ever. I never check the inbox there.)

At the risk of being the one who says "yes, but" all the time: I think that the endeavor/wish/requirement to end the race on the podium, i.e. first three ranks, is rather competitive. And with recruiting more members, it might get harder. The other requirements are rather relaxed, IMO, too.

And with recruiting more members, it might get harder. The other requirements are rather relaxed, IMO, too. It's def not a requirement to get on the podium, more a wish and an endeavour without getting high scores. Can't speak for everyone in the co-op as some do like to be there every week, BUT there's no high drama or must try harder if we don't. We want to reach the podium without busting a gut and without stiff competition. This means we need to strive not to be extremely competitive, which is why I have kept the task point limit to 125 and have not increased the minimum from 10 tasks or 1000 points. The bigger the racing team, the less likely we will come across a perfect scoring team, making it easier to reach the podium, with a lower score. This is why I raced last week, and will be racing again this week, to see how well we do with almost everyone racing. What we don't want, is to be in the position the Den found themselves in, with being 7th or so, in a field of teams with perfect scores. This is another reason Imp started with a 123 point task, and will try to start the next with an even lower one. .. and he says he doesn't look at his profile. Maybe he doesn't know about the notification prompt. Ah well, I'll send him a pm. The co-op looking for him want 15+ at 130+ so maybe they'll be too competitive for him.
