Every so often the anti-cheating system will trigger false-positives and innocent players can get banned from the game. This means that players can only communicate with Playrix Customer Service, in order to clear themselves and be allowed back into the game. This can take some days althoug some have waited weeks to be reinstated. If anyone ever finds themselves unable to get into the game for whatever reason, whether it be problems updating the game or being banned from the game, please post here so that we know that you're OK. For months there has been an issue with players being able to manipulate the taskboard, by playing on two devices at the same time. Playrix seems to have finally fixed this, in the latest update, by ensuring that we can only play on one device at any one time. As a precaution to some falsely triggering the anti-cheating system, some are suggesting that it may be advisable to only play on one device currently. This may be an overly cautious view, but one I think worth mentioning. This has now happened to Cathy in her other co-op and I hope, doesn't happen to anyone else in our co-op.

Hi, Nevermind. I deleted everything and re-installed. I'm back into my town.

Phew Suz! Glad you got it sorted, but sorry that you broke your phone. That's Just for info: Opting in or out of the regatta can only be done by the individual. Although there have been various requests for leaders to have this facility, Playrix have ruled this out.

Just for info: Some things that can help when an update gets stuck in a loop - Force stop the game, then try updating. - Go to app settings, find the Township app, press 'Force Stop'
- Deleting the data - go to the app settings, then tap 'Clear Data'. You will receive a warning message. What this actually does, is clear everything (without actually uninstalling the game) so that it will download new files when opening up the game.
- Uninstall Township - go to the app settings, then 'Uninstall'
Before uninstalling, it's always worth taking some screenshots of your tcash, coins etc, just in case you have any problems and need to contact the devs for any reason.

Help! The game says that there’s an update needed to be installed, but when it brings me to the App Store, there’s no update! I worry that this may go on for a long time, and I’ll be kicked out of my co-op, and I don’t want that! Please help! Hi, I'm not sure which App Store you're referring to. I have read issues for some ios and kindle users not being able to update their games. If you still haven't managed to update your game, then I would suggest posting on the Playrix forum stating which store you are having issues with. You may well get more info & help there. Good luck!

I have had this same problem but it ended up being an iPhone update not a township update.
