We haven't yet decided what this other co-op will be, and for the time being we are keeping it fluid. So far, I've used it to get a feel for solo racing. DD has returned to that co-op this week, as she prefers to race to open buoys only, and not necessarily race for the podium. This is something that could be good for members who have difficulty completing the 10 minimum. DD & I are going to see how that pans out this week and decide how to race the following week. A lot of this depends on the racing style & strategy of Little Wonders. So if some feel that 10 tasks is quite tough, or, if someone can't commit to 10 but would still like to race, then it may be worthwhile trying DD's. Both Tami's little town & Pink's can be used as placeholders to allow DD and/or Pink to return to Little Wonders at any time. If anyone wants try racing solo for the podium or in a group then DD's can be used for this too. Racing to open buoys may still have a minimum requirement but it would be much lower than 10 tasks. I will be adding more info here as things progress. If anyone would like to try any type of racing in DD's co-op, then please post here or ask questions etc

I believe there haven't been any questions here (except maybe "what for?", lol) nor interest, as Little Wonders seems to offer all that the group needs. It probably does; let me just add a little explanation :-)
Racing for the buoys doesn't necessarily mean less tasks, IMO. It just means we don't have to fight to reach the podium. I can't usually commit to doing always all tasks (working full time), that is why I opted out in a let's say engaged Coop before (they claimed they race relaxed, but, just like LW, were so good they always were somewhere in the top 3, and THEN, I think everyone tries to win. lol, they did). But after some weeks, I thought, why not take the rewards for tasks I do anyway, like harvesting fast crops, or the heli offers, feeding and HOLs? As I still didn't want to hinder my Coop, just in case I would have to take lower tasks or not do all in the league, I opened my own.
The advantage of solo racing is that the task board is all yours. The disadvantage is of course the missing Coop-requests and - missing the ppl for chatting :-)
So, Cathy (with whom I stayed in touch) said one day, you could try Little Wonders; we are racing much more relaxed there. When I arrived here, the first thing I hear is about a minimum of 10 tasks/1000 points (feasible) and - striving for the podium, LOL. So I tried it out and found the group (mostly, you probably know why <g> ) very nice! some a bit strangely silent, even during the race (and I don't mean thank-you's! lol), but the task board again difficult to handle with the big group and different timezones, also cos my preferred tasks can't be reserved (which is OK, not complaining). It all went well, but then I thought I need a break with less expectations again (my own, mostly, when I see victory so close, LOL), and joined Pink in the distant-dwarf, as she wanted to test a bit more also, which modifications would make that 2nd Coop interesting for more LW-members (from TS-forum we know that several groups run a competitive and a relaxed racing Coop).
Now, back to racing for buoys: for example, Pink and I reached 11 of the 12 reward chests, mainly cos Pink played a perfect score of 2160. My score is 2116, cos I couldn't resist some 125-HOLs <g> And it means: Both with 16 tasks!
well, it looks like we might finish in the top 3 can't avoid either to win the race ;-) but that's still not the point of this Coop. It doesn't have to be 16 every race, the 10 only maybe, but not 0 or only 3 either, I think. The main idea is to use the advantages of a smaller group in the way of having more choices for "everyone" on the task board, while still and definitely using the advantage of Chat in a group for talking about who does what when - or not. Chat IS an advantage and should be used, IMO. Besides, it's more fun. ;-)
We'll be trying that out with the smaller group next week again, to get more experience with it, and if someone wants to join, great - we didn't experiment with groups of 3 or 4 or 5 yet either. :-) Just be aware that during that time, our LW-friends can only see and help us, and vice versa, if we are on each other's friends or recent helpers tab. :-)

Quick question, does anyone know *for sure*: If I lower the entry level for inviting someone with a lower level, can I reset the entry level to higher again after having sent the invitation, OR do I have to wait till the person enters? can't be the latter, I hope, or I would have to wait ages, but want to be sure, as I can't communicate usually with the invited person and wouldn't know that or why they can't enter despite the invitation. jumping for joy if someone knows - ? *g* Or: Tami is also a bunnee at the moment!

Yes, she can get in. If she has an invitation to join your co-op, i think she can join at any point (as long as she has the invite in the inbox), regardless of any changes in the co-op's settings after you send the invite. posted by dread on the ts forum

I can confirm, that i can go to your co-op if i have the invitation (which i do, thanks! ), regardless of the level required.

Aha, then why did you originally tell us we have to lower the level for you to get back in when you switch? grin No getting back in despite invite otherwise? Or did I miss something (again) Cry

As I noticed, when I tried to invite dread, I have to lower the level to be able to send the invite. Otherwise I can't. (hence the question whether I can raise the level afterwards again, or have to wait) I think that might have been the reason for that hint.
